DevOps/Cloud Engineer Financial Services

As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure solutions with a focus on DevOps practices. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment, automation, and monitoring of cloud environments.

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using DevOps best practices.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and scaling using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, security, and cost.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Implement security best practices in cloud environments, including IAM, encryption, and compliance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive automation, efficiency, and innovation in infrastructure management.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

• Strong background in system integration, API design, and platform engineering - in cloud-native environments.
• Experience designing and implementing SDKs, APIs, or middleware components supporting payments or identity use cases.
• Proficiency in relevant programming stacks (e.g. Java, Kotlin, React, Node.js) and understanding of secure coding and data protection principles.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with cryptography, security frameworks, and authentication standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, eIDAS, PKI).
• Technical consulting skills. Capable of engaging effectively with architects, developers, and product owners - translating between technical and business perspectives, facilitating workshops and architecture reviews
• Skilled in preparing and presenting technical documentation, solution overviews, and architecture artefacts for clients
• 4 years in payment systems or large financial infrastructure projects
