DevOps Engineer

• You will design, operate, and optimize our deployment and infrastructure processes in a modern, agile environment.
• You will ensure that our applications, services, and data platforms run reliably, scalably, and with high availability in (private) cloud and on-premise environments.
• With automation solutions for CI/CD, provisioning, and configuration, you will ensure that deployments run smoothly.
• You will take care of backup, cleanup, and decommissioning processes and manage internal and external certificates.
• Together with the development teams, you will optimize monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting to ensure that systems remain transparent and performant at all times.
• You consistently implement security guidelines and introduce best practices for networks, firewalls, WAF, TLS, and vaults.
• In addition, you provide support in the administration of databases (MS SQL, MongoDB, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis).

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * You have at least five years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or (private) cloud infrastructure.

• You are familiar with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), as well as monitoring, logging, and tracing (CheckMk, GrayLog, Metabase).
• You have experience in operating and managing databases, as well as in supporting data warehouses and BI tools.
• Your skill set includes expertise in network and security infrastructure (DNS, load balancers, firewalls, WAF, TLS certificates, vaults).
• You are proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and experienced in using version control and collaboration tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.).
• You are characterized by analytical thinking, a solution-oriented approach, and the ability to explain complex technical issues in an understandable way.
• You have excellent communication skills in German and English (minimum B2 level in each)., Are you passionate about modern IT landscapes and automated processes? Do you have a heart for stable, scalable infrastructures and a solid foundation in software and systems engineering?
