Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our global automotive team. As Backend Developer, you will be responsible for implementing features for critical application environments for industry leaders in the automotive industry., * Backend Development: Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.

• Database Management: Work with Oracle Databases, writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing database interactions.
• Deployment & Server Management: Deploy and manage applications on WebSphere Liberty Server, ensuring stability and performance.
• Code Quality & CI/CD: Maintain high-quality code using GitHub, Maven, and IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA/Eclipse), following best practices for version control and build automation.

• Technical expertise: Strong proficiency in Java (8+) including Java EE
• Experience with Java Application Server technology, preferrable with Open Liberty or IBM WebSphere
• Experience with Websocket technology
• Experience with Docker
• Experience working with Oracle
• Development & CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control, Maven for build automation, Artifactory, SonarQube and IDEs like IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities. Easy to work with.
• Experience with our relevant business domain (Automotive industry). Familiarity with IT process frameworks SCRUM, ITIL.
