Job Purpose/Role As Head of Software Engineering (f/m/d) your mission is to:
- Lead the design and implementation of robust CI/CD processes tailored for automotive software
- Drive the development and integration of E/E platform software aligned with system architecture and production requirements
- Define best practices for version control, branching strategies, and release management.
- Foster innovation by evaluating and integrating modern tools and technologies
- Represent Audi in cross-brand committees and external tech communities
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of software architects and DevOps specialists
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and software quality benchmarks
Requirements
Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10+ years in automotive E/E and software domains, with proven leadership experience managing complex, diverse teams
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and software quality assurance in complex software environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects including budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder alignment
- Proven experience in series development and steering E/E architecture projects
- Strong background in platform software development for automotive systems
- You possess a strong foundation for international and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead complex, international projects
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
