Tasks

• Manage and develop the network infrastructure for stability.
• Oversee LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners effectively., The IT team in Wallisellen operates the company's IT infrastructure throughout Switzerland. As a System Engineer with a focus on networking, you are responsible for the stable and secure operation as well as the further development of our network infrastructure. You manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, and VPN solutions and work closely with internal departments, external partners, and Sonepar's international specialist offices.

In addition to your expertise in networking, you also take on classic system engineer tasks. These include the support and further development of our entire IT infrastructure.

Your profile

• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or further education in the field of IT
• Several years of experience in networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN, routing, switching, firewalls), ideally with Aruba, Fortinet, or comparable products
• Experience in system engineering (Windows servers, virtualization, AD, Azure Cloud)
• Independent and reliable working style
• You continuously educate yourself regarding current technologies
