Job description
On-Premises & Virtual Infrastructure
- Design, install, configure and maintain Citrix environments, including XenApp, XenDesktop, StoreFront, NetScaler and Provisioning Services both on-premise and cloud.
- Manage and administer SCCM, including software deployment, patch management, inventory, reporting and compliance.
- Manage and administer Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and other core infrastructure services.
- Support virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) and maintain on-premise compute, storage, and network components.
Cloud & Hybrid Environments
- Support cloud-based services and hybrid integrations across Azure, M365, and related platforms.
- Participate in migrating, optimizing, and maintaining workloads in hybrid/on-premises environments.
- Support identity and access management integrations between on-premises AD and cloud identity (Entra ID).
Performance, Monitoring & Reliability
- Monitor and optimize the performance, availability and reliability of the hybrid IT infrastructure using various tools and best practices.
- Implement and improve automation where beneficial (PowerShell, cloud automation tools, SCCM task sequences, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis and recommendations.
Governance, Documentation & Collaboration
- Document and update IT infrastructure policies, procedures and standards.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve the hybrid IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other IT staff.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams and vendors.
Security (General Awareness Only)
- Apply standard security best practices within infrastructure systems (patching, hardening, least-privilege, secure configurations).
- Support corporate security initiatives led by the security team (e.g., MFA rollout, compliance checks).

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, administration or support.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Citrix technologies, such as XenApp, XenDesktop, StoreFront, NetScaler and Provisioning Services.
- Strong knowledge and experience with SCCM, including software deployment, patch management, inventory, reporting and compliance.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and other core services.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications in Citrix, SCCM and other relevant cloud technologies are preferred.
- Strong Azure Cloud Knowledge
