Tasks
- Oversee Access Management operations aligned with ITIL and security policies.
- Develop automated solutions using PowerShell and Ansible for Active Directory.
- Plan secure data migrations, ensuring access controls and audit trails., * Oversee end-to-end Access Management operations in full alignment with the service catalogue, ITIL framework, and organisational security policies
- Develop and maintain automated solutions using PowerShell and Ansible for reporting, logging, and access provisioning within Active Directory
- Plan and execute secure data migration activities across storage platforms, ensuring preservation of appropriate access controls, permissions, and audit trails throughout the transition process
- Drive the evolution of access management strategies by actively contributing to the design of scalable authorisation models, role-based access controls (RBAC), and efficient approval workflows
- Partner closely with project teams and key stakeholders on IAM-related initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of access controls into system rollouts and transformations
- Serve as a senior advisor to both technical teams and business units, providing expert guidance on access operations, policy interpretation, and the resolution of exceptional or high-risk access scenarios
Requirements
- Degree in IT or 5+ years as a Microsoft Active Directory System Administrator.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively., * A recognised degree in Information Technology, or a minimum of five years experience as a Microsoft Active Directory System Administrator (MCSA or equivalent certification is preferred)
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, administration, and reporting within Active Directory
- In-depth knowledge of Windows file system management, including NTFS permissions and Distributed File Systems (DFS)
- Familiarity with HR processes such as Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) and organisational reorganisation procedures, ensuring accurate and timely access updates during personnel changes
- Practical experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and concepts, including role-based access, provisioning workflows, and periodic access reviews
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent projects efficiently and systematically
- Self-motivated, dependable, and resilient, with a strong sense of ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Experience in Ansible playbook development, particularly within NetApp environments, is a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and T-SQL for data querying and analysis is beneficial
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; proficiency in German is considered an asset
