(Senior) AI Engineer (80-100%)

• Lead the design and implementation of a new AI platform.
• Identify use cases and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
• Develop prototypes to validate ideas with clients and stakeholders., As an AI Engineer, you have the opportunity to help shape a new AI platform for the financial world from the ground up - from the initial idea to productive deployment. You work on projects that have a direct impact on financial institutions and their customers.

Your tasks

• Take responsibility for solution design, development, and introduction of our new AI platform
• Identify new use cases and translate them into concrete, AI-driven solutions
• Develop and test prototypes to validate ideas early with customers and stakeholders
• Evaluate new technologies in terms of feasibility, maturity, and business benefit - and derive architecture and tooling decisions from this
• Promote data-driven thinking and act as an initiator for AI innovation within the company

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong Python skills, especially with LLM applications.
• Experience with embedding models and vector databases., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Experience in building at least one market-relevant product or feature based on LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral)
• Very good Python skills, especially in the context of LLM applications
• Practical experience with embedding models, vector databases, and RAG architectures
• Enjoy iterative work, continuous learning, and experimenting
• Experience in interdisciplinary teams with product owners and software engineers
• Industry knowledge in banking and an affinity for DevOps are a big plus
• Fluent in German and English
