IT System Infrastructure Engineer

The IT infrastructure is partially outsourced to an external IT service provider responsible for setup and day-to-day management. The Internal System Infrastructure team collaborates intensively with this service provider to establish and maintain a secure infrastructure. A generalist mindset is essential to integrate all components effectively.

Infrastructure Components:

• Network (firewall, switch, etc.)
• Security components (web application firewall, anti-DDoS, web proxy, etc.)
• Database (SQL Server)
• Storage Servers (Windows and Linux)
• Cloud infrastructure (Azure)
• Workstations (Windows)
• Mobile devices (Apple iOS devices), * Assist in designing and setting up new infrastructure or applications securely
• Collaborate with applicative IT team, business users, and external service provider to implement infrastructure meeting business and non-functional requirements like high availability and security
• Manage applicative issues securely with other teams and service provider
• Troubleshoot and provide technical support in collaboration with colleagues and service provider
• Handle and follow up on security incidents
• Document information for IT personnel and end users
• Serve as a link with first-level and third-level teams

• Ability to draft documentation in English
• Experience in similar IT functions (server, storage, and network administration) is a plus
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint), * Team player

• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Bilingual in Dutch/French and good level of English (writing)
