Test Automation Lead/Architect

As a Test Automation Lead & Architect, you will design and implement scalable automation frameworks, drive automation strategies, and lead teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You'll work closely with clients to perform assessments, define roadmaps and strategies, implement and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure continuous improvement.

• Define and implement test automation strategies and frameworks.
• Lead and mentor other QA professionals, ensuring best practices and quality standards.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Conduct tool evaluations, POCs, and drive innovation in automation solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align automation initiatives with business goals.
• Working hands-on in test automation activities and lead a test automation team/project.

Professionele bachelor, * You have proven experience in test automation architecture/management, approximately a minimum of 8-10 years.

• You speak Dutch and English and live in Belgium
• You have a broad tool expertise in tools such as: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, BDD/Cucumber, Tosca, Leapwork, RobotFramework, Jira, Xray, ALM QC, qTest,…
• You have the ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• You have hands-on experience in: different test automation solutions/frameworks, evaluating the usage/fitness for a specific client environment, integration of test automation solutions with ALM tooling, performing POCs and assessments on test automation,…
• You have a strong test knowledge (ISTQB, TMap, automation pyramid, regression testing, smoke testing,...) and understand how to define a qualitative regression test strategy that provides adequate test coverage.
