Job description
You will be the end-to-end architect and solution driver, utilizing the full Microsoft Fabric and data services suite:
- Client & Sales Engagement: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and internal sales teams, translating complex business needs into clear, winning technical proposals and roadmaps.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants, defining best practices and architecture standards for Fabric implementations.
- Design & Architecture: Architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and Lakehouse architectures using OneLake, Data Factory, and Synapse Data Engineering/Warehouse, Databricks.
- Insight & Visualization: Develop compelling reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI.
- Advanced Analytics: Leverage Synapse Data Science and Real-Time Analytics to deliver advanced, predictive insights and utilize Data Activator for automated actions.
- Governance & Security: Implement robust data governance, security, and compliance best practices within the Fabric environment, potentially using Microsoft Purview.
- Innovate: Stay ahead of advancements in Microsoft Fabric, related Azure data services, and emerging AI tools like Co-pilot, AI Agent automation,…, * Consulting & Leadership: Proven experience in a client-facing role (e.g., Consultant, Architect, or Technical Lead, Evangelist), including supporting the sales cycle and translating requirements into Statements of Work (SOWs)., 7. Requirements
We are looking for a consulting expert with deep technical and strong client-facing capability., * Microsoft Fabric Mastery: In-depth, hands-on experience with core Fabric components (OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, Synapse Data Warehouse, Power BI).
- Technical Foundations: Strong proficiency in SQL (including query optimization) and a solid understanding of data modeling concepts.
- Communication: Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration abilities.
- Language: Fluent in English and at least one of the following: Dutch or French (preferably both).
Desirable Expertise:
- Microsoft Certification: Highly preferred, especially Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate.
- Experience with Python or Scala for data manipulation.
- Knowledge of Synapse Data Science and machine learning concepts.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and working in an Agile environment.
