As a System Engineer, you will become a valued member of our multidisciplinary development team within the Engineering department, focusing on precision-guided rocket systems for helicopters and aircraft. In this role, you will play a key part in:
Developing and improving both new and existing Algorithms and Control Laws for Guidance, Navigation, Flight Controls and Aiming Systems
Testing and assessing algorithm performance using analytical methods and Monte-Carlo simulations
Performing algorithm validation and verification (V&V) for updates and new designs
Supporting integration of algorithms into hardware using code generation and Hardware-in-the-loop test rigs
Improving C code generation and supporting the embedded team with algorithm integration
Participating in trials and processing flight test data
Maintaining digital twins for current and in-development products
Requirements
Master's Degree in Engineering, Aeronautics, Mathematics, Physics or Electronics
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an engineering department
Strong competency in mathematics and statistics with ability to work efficiently with large volumes of data
Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink
Analytical mindset with demonstrated thoroughness in approach to problem-solving
Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex problems in simple terms
Understanding of the challenges of embedding real-time algorithms in micro-controllers
