Job description
- Design comprehensive test strategies and plans for new BMS products, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Develop robust test protocols and acceptance criteria based on customer requirements and European/International standards.
- Perform electrical, communication, and performance tests on battery cells, modules, and racks safely and professionally, ensuring top-quality standards.
- Analyze test data, identify root causes of issues, and propose actionable solutions to improve product performance and reliability.
- Work closely with the design team, R&D, project managers, and quality & safety teams to ensure seamless integration and testing processes.
- Assist in the certification process for Avesta's BMS products, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations related to customer-specific requirements for Avesta's BMS solutions.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues for products that are already in the field, ensuring customer satisfaction and product performance.
Requirements
Do you have experience in TCP/IP?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Avesta is seeking an experienced BMS Test Engineer to join our growing Battery Management System (BMS) team. If you're passionate about the battery storage industry and thrive on solving complex technical challenges, we would love to hear from you., * Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Applied Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in the battery industry, with a focus on BMS, energy storage systems, and/or power electronics.
- Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of BMS, battery systems, inverters/converters, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with battery pack testers, cell testers, and controllable power sources/loads.
- Proven experience in developing test plans, deploying test platforms, and performing tests in a precise, reliable, and safe manner.
- Strong ability to analyze test data, identify issues, and solve complex problems effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and concise test reports and documentation.
- Hands-on knowledge of communication protocols like CAN, ModBus, TCP/IP, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and C (a plus) for test automation and data analysis.
- Self-motivated with a collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
